Convert nearly any audio format to MP3.
Hi there, I made a shortcut to convert audio to MP3.
You’ll have to sign up for your own account and API key at CloudConvert.com but it’s free and pretty easy.
Plug it in the text box and open the MP3 Converter shortcut from the Share menu and it will prompt you for a download location when ready.
In putting this together, I didn’t find anything very similar so I thought I’d share :)

I only just now saw this shortcut, but I saw your comment and wanted to leave an answer to your question. It WAS in fact a little bit tricky to find. You have to be signed in and go to your dashboard. Then with the menu on the left side, go to the bottom and find API V1, then Authorization under that. You’ll have to click on “Regenerate API Key” and then you’re set.

I found it now, but I think the shortcut is too old because now there’s the error "Could not connect to server" xD

Well - no... I had that same problem, but it was because I was using the V2 api key. Once I found the V1 “Authentication” section and got a key there, I used it and was able to get this shortcut working. So make sure you’re using the much shorter V1 authentication key. Good luck!

Works, but it seems to be on the v1 API which is deprecated and being disabled in Jan 2022. Requires a v1 API key, which is a bit tricky to get - have to go to the dashboard, then the menu on the left and all the way at the bottom there’s API V1 and then Authorization. At first I thought the whole url it was using was broken because entering a v2 api key makes it say it can’t connect to the server.
Please update and make a v2 api version.
